THE LEXINGTON | Hand-Painted Wearable Art Handbag

For the woman who doesn’t want to see her bag on everyone else’s arm.

The Lexington starts with a blank 34" × 18" piece of soft cream canvas.

Before it ever becomes a handbag, I create the art.

That canvas gives me more than four square feet of space to paint by hand. For The Lexington, I created layers of rich chocolate horizontal lines, blocks, textures and brushstrokes, allowing portions of the natural cream canvas to show through the artwork.

The result is an abstract design with a clean, modern feel—almost architectural in the way the lines and blocks move across the canvas.

Nothing is digitally printed or reproduced.

Every mark and brushstroke comes from my hand.

Once the artwork is complete, I take that original 34" × 18" painted canvas and transform it into The Lexington.

The canvas is cut, shaped and constructed into a clean handbag silhouette that allows the original artwork to take center stage. A genuine leather handle completes the exterior, while the inside is fully lined and finished with an interior pocket.

There are no oversized bows or exterior pockets on The Lexington.

The art is the statement.

What began as a blank canvas becomes an original piece of art you can carry.

The Lexington is a signature handbag style that I can create again.

I can recreate the shape. I can start with the same soft cream canvas and work within the same rich chocolate color story.

But I cannot duplicate the artwork.

Because every line, block, texture and brushstroke is created individually by hand, I can't place those details in exactly the same position twice.

A line may fall differently. A painted block may be darker or lighter. A brushstroke may reveal more of the natural canvas underneath. And once the painted canvas is cut and constructed, different portions of the artwork will naturally appear across the finished handbag.

Those differences are intentional.

They're what make each Lexington an original.

So yes, another woman may own The Lexington.

But she won't own your Lexington.

Each canvas becomes its own painting.

With The Lexington, I wanted the artwork itself to do the talking. No oversized bow. No statement pockets. Just the shape of the handbag and the original artwork created across the canvas. I paint it. I cut it. I shape it, and then I turn that original artwork into something you can carry.

That's why no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

The color story may return. The handbag style may return.

But the painting won't.

Instead of hanging this original canvas on your wall,

you get to carry it.
